Neo-Nazis Welcomed to America While Immigrants Persecuted

Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano attacks immigrants yet welcomes a convicted anti-Semite to the US. In the aftermath of the Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting in DC, as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) continues to focus on rounding up immigrants with no criminal background, David Irving, notorious Holocaust denier, neo-Nazi sympathizer, and convicted criminal is allowed to hold more than 15 speaking engagements. Irving has already made more than half of those stops. Holocaust deniers like David Irving are the “intellectual elite” of modem neo-Nazism. The re-writing of Third Reich history is a major preoccupation for modern neo-Nazis and neo-fascists, who correctly believe that memory of the Holocaust is a significant barrier to the mainstreaming of their beliefs.

In neo-Nazi minds, Jews control the media, movies, the music industry; they control banking and the money supply; they manipulate other minorities to attack whites. According to neo-Nazi ideology they undermine the “white race” by encouraging and facilitating the abortion of white children and interracial marriage. Jews, in short, are the deadly enemy of the white race.

Wherever David Irving appears, he is backed and promoted by virulent anti-Semites and fascist organizers. He is part of a political circle that is actively organizing for ethnic and racial conflict and, in particular, to persecute Jewish people. James von Brunn’s murder of a security guard at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is one recent example of where this anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi tendency can lead. Von Brunn moved within many of the same circles that promote Irving’s work. In addition to spreading blatant historical lies, Irving has publicly stated that “The Jews are the architects of their own misfortune”.

If you can tell a man by the company he keeps, David Irving’s contact book makes for disturbing reading. David Irving has addressed many meetings over the years, in many countries around the world. In Canada, the white supremacist Aryan Resistance Movement guarded Irving’s talks in 1991. Wolfgang Droege, leader of the openly Nazi white supremacist Heritage Front, appeared in Irving’s entourage at most of his appearances during his November 1992 Canada tour. On the other side of the world, the British National Party (BNP), Britain’s largest and most dangerous fascist group has a long working association with Irving.

Irving has been banned from most of the Western world including Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy, New Zealand and South Africa because of his views, which he has made known in 20 books and in speeches, often hosted by neo-fascists, around the world. He faces extradition by a German court for “inciting racial hatred.” Mainstream politicians and academics in both Europe and the United States have denounced him.

So why is Irving allowed to spread his hate freely around America? How out of touch are Janet Napolitano’s priorities that someone with this kind of record has no trouble entering, traveling, and working in America, but immigrants are persecuted on a daily basis? With the expansion of the 287(g) program, the new employer audit initiative, the growth of the Border Patrol, and the relentless, unconscionable construction of the border fence, Napolitano has shown a renewed commitment to cruelty by accelerating draconian anti-immigrant programs at DHS. She’s even out of touch with her boss, President Obama, who, at the Buchenward concentration camp last month, said “I have no patience for people who would deny history.” I guess it’s only an issue of national security when the people in question are brown, poor, or harmless.
