Nothing could be further from the truth. Mr. Beck spent about 30 years as a journalist reporting on environmental and economic issues. He has been a key player in studies conducted on the environmental impacts of urban sprawl, and in the mid-1990's he wrote a book called "The Case Against Immigration" which argued for reduced immigration for reasons related to overpopulation and the resulting environmental degredation. Before you denounce someone's credentials, please make sure you are familiar with there background. Some simple research into Mr. Beck's background would reveal that environmentalism has in fact been his career for almost 40 years now.
